Trail Steam Donkey
Top half was overgrown and looked like it wasn't ridden in a while. Lots of spiderwebs too.

Trail Truffle Shuffle
Our favourite trail of the day. Steep narrow sections with sections that you can drop or roll. Great for a double black rider or a easy black rider.

Definitely not black. Definitely not very fun either.

Trail Truffle Shuffle
Optional start was muddy, including a pretty greasy rock roll, and a massive g out bomb hole at the bottom. Plenty carved out chutes from winter trail wear.

Such a fun trail with lots of fun wood features. All of them can be ridden around except the first bridge which you can walk if needed.

Great trail to use to connect Vanilla to Blue Collar.

Trail The Pig
Came back after a year to sadly find the first feature completely destroyed. Shame it had to go as it’s a pretty unique trail that just doesn’t feel worth it anymore

This trail is underrated and definitely worth the extra climb if your hitting something like chunder after. For skilled riders it is fast and loamy and a great time. A little pedally in spots but totally worth it

Sorry that was too brief.
Really sucks.
Takes forever to get there. And there is very little reward.
Stay away unless your wearing spandex.

And by spandex I mean you are out for a cross country ride, as opposed to looking for a more gravity oriented trail.
Cross country/down country/trail: fine trail
All mountain / Enduro: probably not for you

My sons and I live in North Van, however we get over to Cumberland Several time per year. The trails here are amazing. There is a nice variety of trails. I know it is a easier trail however Space Nugget is still one of my favourites.

Tree down across the trail on the climb, between that nasty root stepped and the A frame.

Biked to the top for Vanilla. going through this trail was the perfect way to end the flow oriented ride.

Trail Teapot
Trail ratings are hard with such a limited range of options, but this is more of an easy black/double blue imo especially with the tech climb section. Had a newbie friend worried that blue trails would be beyond his skill after trying to ride this on his first ride.
Lower thirsty Beaver is an easier trail and is rated black to give some idea. Fun trail to connect with truffle shuffle.

Trail Black Hole
Friendly note for those riding Cumberland for the first time and not having done much planning in advance who come up to this trail and figure "hmm, looks good to me -- let's do it." (not that I know anybody like that...)
Primarily a descending trail, though it can be ridden up. Either way, a solid flowy trail

Very nice blue trail. There are features you can go around. Still challenging enough. Thank you trail builders for the options.

If you like not seeing where you’re going and having your skin ripped apart by foliage for 15 minutes when this is the trail for you.

Love this trail, it flows well and it has a half pipe sort of section where you wave back and forth through a ravine style area. Not difficult just fun!

Trail Bucket Of Blood
Primarily downhill mountain bike. Don’t suggest going up it. I’ll be coming down at a fast pace.

Trail Middle 50:1
On July 7, 2017 I lost my Garmin 520 during the BCBR. We climbed up 50:1 to Cabbage Patch. It was on one of the final right hand turns before starting into Cabbage Patch. There was some congestion and I fell left at the turn. There is a downed log right atvthe corner. Unfortunately I didn't notice until we hit the fire road. If found please contact Kevin (403) 585-7740

Have been waiting for the same info myself... Have you emailed BCBR?

Any chance you could allow this route to be downloadable for GPX, like the rest of the days. Cheers!

Trail Old Vanilla
Fun trail, gets a little tight in the trees if you have too much speed. Makes for a great loop now that it's connected to shortline
