This is a permitted race course, not all trails can be ridden 365 days a year. Please respect Land Managers and Ride at Your Own Risk.

Day 4 will take you from Sechelt to Langdale, a 50 km day where the hoots and hollers will come throughout the day: from the first descent on BLT and Chapman Creek to the second on El Dorado and Rio Grande. Then it's onto Gnome and the final breathtaking plunge along the last 7 km... all downhill thru the swooppy, loamy singletrack of legendary Hwy 102, enjoy

Wonder how much money it would cost to upgrade this trail to the quality of the sprockets climb one, just to make a nicer smoother longer good quality climb trail to get up the technical ecstasy and fuzzy hugs etc

Trail Hwy 102
Beautiful trail, pleasant grade for climbing, variety of forested terrain and interesting skinnies. Great example of BC X/C.

Trail BLT
RIP BLT Trail. Built by the Legendary Proctor Crew to connect various parts of Sechelt mainland, and to connect to the Chapman Creek crossing trail. The permanent closing of this trail is an all round shame, and now cuts off a popular traverse across the upper portions of the Chapman creek basin.

Horses can do this trail, there is a small bridge and it can support equine use (best to lead your horse over, no railings but bridge is not high

Great access to upper RC trails. Rocky footing for horses but gentle rise.
Keep trails accessible for all, remember to clean up after your horse and pick up garbage along the way!

This is not a 9 metre elevation gain stretch. It is much more than that.

Trail is open now and rerouted. It has a small section of bike pushing (30m) but going down is fun

Unrideable, unwalkable, don't ride this.

There is no trail left - at first it may look like a couple of trees have fallen that you need to go over but it just gets worse and worse.

Trail El Dorado
!! Near the bottom a big chunk has been freshly logged. Go left to find a fresh cut loamer (and definitely don’t go right to avoid major log hopping)

If you like riding really wide and straight trails with no corners that are covered in softball sized rocks, this trail is for you!

Loose gravel most of the way to the top. Not really worth the hassle of getting there.

Best section is between the middle road access and El Dorado. Everything else is loose and overgrown.

Trail Up 'n' Over
This trail is bidirectional, but marked as DH only.
It's not necessarily the _funnest_ trail to claim, but it's doable, and keeps you out of the sun and the fire roads.
