Nice trail for a self-shuttle ride in and out then continue to Hidden treasure and Bumble Bee trails. The trail is rated blue intermediate but watch out with the exposure sites and loose dirt on the edges will keep you on your toes for sure. Mostly flow with some sketchy switchbacks and decent altitude gain.

My favourite segment of the BCT, you really are in the middle of nowhere with very few (if any) people. Some exposure on parts of this trail but the scenery is just amazing. The trail beautifully meanders the contours of the canyon and below Sunset Point of the highway.

Fun section of BCT. Descent (Southbound) is a blast. Climb (Northbound) is a little bit of work, but mellow grades, non-technical, totally cleanable. Easy Blue.

Great trail! But a warning: we rode here after some rain and while the trails were awesome condition and just damp, the roads getting there (Crown King, Antelope Creek) were a muddy mess. In our 2 wheel drive vehicle we almost got stuck multiple places. I’m sure the locals know this but a warning for fellow travelers!

This rode more like a black rating. More loose rocks than usual. Tough segment

A mix of fun singletrack and scenic dirt roads. Nice section of trail when riding from Bigg TH to the Bumblebee TH.

This is a tough climb. Sustained, somewhat rutted, and loose. It’s all rideable, just tough. Stopped for a few minutes midway in to curse and remove clothing.

This section recently burned. Makes it feel noticeably hotter and less pleasant than other sections. More like hell. More technical than previous blue sections.

Great single track! A bit of exposure, and some technical little bits, but great practice. And the view is grand.

Relatively smooth and flat through some rolling hills with some rocky areas and nice bunny hills. Trees and bushes provide plenty of shady areas.

Mostly gravel road through relatively mundane scenery. Skip this if you are doing segments.

Short but sweet, singletrack rolling through prickly pear cacti
