Ruta 04 de Basaburua MTB, Ipar Trails, que une varias bajadas divertidas en bucle, cuidadas con mucho mimo y cariño para que siempre estén impecables.

El inicio de la ruta es en el polideportivo de Jauntsarats, y tras un breve tramo de sendero, comenzamos con la primera subida del día, en dirección a las sidrerías de Beruete, atravesando preciosos bosques de hayas y robles. A la altura de Erretzeko Borda saldremos a un llano ya fuera del bosque, descanso que podremos aprovechar para apreciar las maravillosas vistas que tenemos a nuestras espaldas.

Desde aquí, nos espera una rampa de hormigón dura hasta Txaseneko Borda, para después tomar la pista que sale hacia arriba, que nos ofrecerá unas muy buenas vistas hacia las Dos Hemanas de Irurtzun y San Miguel de Aralar. Poco a poco el camino se va convirtiendo en un bonito sendero, que nos da acceso al sendero Atomiko. Un sendero variado, con zonas ratoneras, técnicas, inclinadas, etc. que nos hará pasárnoslo bien.

Tras llegar a la pista, en lugar de cruzarla para seguir con Atomiko, tomaremos a la izquierda y tras pasar la cantera, ascenderemos por un bonito sendero hasta aparecer a Basajaun. En este punto, podremos seguir por el sendero para adentrarnos en un festín de curvas y saltos, hasta acabar en la carretera entre Jauntsarats y Beruete, que tendremos que seguir durante 2,5 km hasta llegar al pueblo de Beruete.

Desde Beruete cogeremos la carretera que nos lleva de nuevo a las sidrerías, para seguir subiendo por duras cuestas hacia el paraje de Oorte, que nos dará acceso al sendero Baxurde. Este es el primer sendero que se abrió desde Basaburua MTB allá por el 2018, y ha sufrido varios cambios a consecuencia de las entresacas forestales, de modo que a veces cuesta seguir el sendero. A día de hoy, Baxurde se une a la parte final de Akerbeltz y sigue por la parte más sencilla de esta.

Una vez que salgamos a la carretera, toca volver a subir por carretera, pero esta vez hacia Lauburu, para terminar la sesión de flow con una bajada física, pero muy divertida. Al terminarla, volveremos al punto de inicio por un bonito sendero paralelo a la carretera.

BE04. Ipar Trails is a 12 mile popular intermediate route located near Lekunberri. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 9 trails. This route climbs 2,718 ft with a max elevation of 2,822 ft then descends -2,735 ft.
