Bear Canyon - Mystical Bear - New World Gulch is a 16 mile moderately popular expert route located near Bozeman Montana. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 8 trails. This route climbs 2,924 ft with a max elevation of 7,716 ft then descends -2,962 ft.

Frequent mud pits, many mandatory. Needs to dry out, but started raining towards end of my descent so only getting wetter.

Tree down near the top on the Mystic Lake side. 6-7" in diameter. I probably could have removed it with my Silky, but I was lazy (and late) and left it for the next person. Still muddy in spots, but NWG is always that way. On the plus side, this trail is seeing some love. Bridges and water crossings have been reinforced recently.
