Bear Creek Shuttle is a 10 mile moderately popular extreme route located near Kernville California. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 3 trails. This route climbs 2,030 ft with a max elevation of 8,981 ft then descends -4,679 ft.

I'm too old for this s#!+ man! Conditions are 'in' if that's fair for this kind of terrain. Upper half is way over my pay grade. Group of us with some very skilled guys (more skill than me)...that also walked a lot of the worst. Lower half is just candy! Burgers and live music at Ponderosa helped the healing.

Lots of downed trees covering the trail, and significant snow cover on higher, shaded slopes.
