Incredible bucket list route. Very technical but not dangerous. Only about 5% of trail is exposed to the edge. Constant diligence to the white dots changing direction and pitch.

Great trail on the Goose. I like it better West to East (clockwise). To each their own.

This was my third time on this trail. Still one of my all time favorites. This time we rode South Rim to Hidden Canyon, then took the North Rim back. Some tough spots for sure, but loads of fun. No views along that stretch of South Rim.

Not sure why it's rated a double black. Wasn't any more difficult than the South Rim.

Pretty tame mostly, but a few spots that could get a beginner in trouble. If you can manage to ride it on a day that's not busy, it can be fun. But crazy busy with families and group rides, hard to get into a flow.

This shouldn't be a double black. Compared to suicidal tendencies or zen and other black trails in the area, this is no different.

More laugh out loud stuff on GB mesa! We hit this before Hidden Canyon and enjoyed these 2 great trails back to back. We started at windmill before these 2 then after B&L we skirted on south rim a bit before giggling down Secret and then back to the lot via some practice and the white trail. One of the most constantly enjoyable routes I've ever done in my few years. Bowls and Ledges rolling up down and playful like some of my fav. Moab home trails (great escape comes to mind)!!!

Awesome set of trails! Matter-of-fact it's my favorite trails ridden thus far. Very technical and chunky. Definitely not for beginner bikers. When you get the the Gooseberry Mesa Point trail rated Double Black ???? don't be afraid. The trail out to the point is very rideable for intermediate riders. A little sketchy at the point with the foot pop-up at the very end with a 200 ft drop to either side. Totally worth the short trek out there. Don't skip it! Walk it if needed. Enjoy the views and the sweet ride back down the South Rim to the parking lot. There are some sweet lines through this sections. Be ready and watch for the white dots! Enjoy!

My favorite trail in Hurricane! South Rim is a great way to descend back to the car from Gooseberry point. There's definitely some exposure and techy bits, but if you have the skills it's a really awesome flowy descent. You can also climb up South Rim. The first 3/4 is straightforward, but the last 1/4 has some challenging parts that might need to be hike-a-biked. twowheeledwanderer.com/posts/best-mountain-bike-trails-in-hurricane-utah

South Rim is much better from the point to the parking lot (counter-clockwise). As another comment suggested, if you're riding clockwise, I'd take a right at Hidden Canyon, take the White Trail to the point, and then come back (downhill) on the last of the South Rim.

Heyo, just letting people know that this video isn't the trail on the map. It's a random ridge line just outside of the old rampage site and between a bunch of drops/lines you've seen in NWD movies and Where the Trail Ends. Really fun, not too tech and a bit hairy in spots. The trail shown on Google maps looks incredible though.

When you get to the junction of south rim and gooseberry point the signage there is stating a blue trail ahead when gooseberry point is definitely a double black on the map the trail stick that sits at the junction needs to be dealt with so people don’t get going to a location that’s way over their head.
