This recommended route takes you on all the best bits at the Southern Trails. It does include a couple of black trails, Follow the Dog and Miller's Mongrels, but the features on these trails all have B lines. These features include log drops and gap jumps. These trails are steep up and steep down in sections and a good level of fitness is required to find these enjoyable. Once you've knocked off the west side of the Southern trails, cross over and tick off all the best of the flow trails on the east side.
