This route will take you on a clockwise tour of all of the current BPT trails. This loop can also be done in the opposite direction (there is debate about which direction is better). Expect lots of roots, ups-and-downs, twists-and-turns, and an occasional drop or two. Look for the old gravestones on the southern end of the Graveyard loop, deer running through the trees, and water-loving plants near the creek.

Please pick up your trash! There are no facilities (water or bathrooms) at the trailhead, so be sure to come prepared.

We have been informed that effective immediately the Bicycle Post trail has been temporarily closed by the land owners. Arrangements are being made to reopen the trail as soon as possible. Please, do not access the trail in any way during this closure. We ask that everyone respect this process and the land owners. All parties involved are working together to create a long term solution which will hopefully allow continued access to one of this areas most beloved natural assets. We know many of you will have questions and if you love trail as much as we do, emotions may be high. Let’s all do our best to be patient and positive! We remain optimistic that we will all be back to enjoying the trails we have grown to love for 30 plus years very soon.
