Ride the course that is used for the Bidwell Bump XC race. Start at 5 mile and head up North Rim Trail to B trail. At the bottom of B trail, follow the dirt road out to the end. Carefully cross the very cold Big Chico Creek and climb up the difficult Ten Mile House Trail. Once you reach Guardians, follow it all the way down continuing on Lower Annie B Trail. The race usually ends at the end of Annie B, but to complete the loop continue out to the pavement and follow it around a couple hundred yards back to 5 mile.

Guardians is a nice shaded single track trail that can be easily accessed from 10 Mile House rd on hwy 32. If you're starting from the bottom of upper bidwell park, you can reach the top of guardians via the Annie Bidwell trail. From there it's mostly downhill with a few short, steep, rocky climbs that you may have to hike a bike up. The flow is amongst the best you'll find in bidwell park, and isn't as rocky as most of the other trails in the park. There are a few small jumps/drops throughout the trail, just watch out for the cliffside edge which has a steep drop off. Hikers don't seem to use this trail much and you usually have it to yourself.

Trail B Trail
B trail is a steep and rocky trail that will challenge most riders. It's still very rideable despite the lack of maintenance. Great for lovers of steep and rocky descents.

No shame in taking this trail slow the first time. The encroaching sharp rock will getcha!

Trail B Trail
B-Trail is a local favorite. It's challenging but I wouldn't rate it a double black diamond. By Whistler standards this would most likely get a blue square rating. Maybe a black diamond. Definitely not double black though. Wink

I agree, I'm not sure who changed it to double black.

These are my local trails and North Rim trail is pretty mellow. The description is spot on.

B trail is the only real downhill section. It's near the top of North Rim trail.
