The BME Durango Purgatory event will take place on August 28th and 29th in the majestic San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Racers can expect two big days of racing, including some backcountry stages. Official practice will take place on Thursday and Friday, with racing action on Saturday and Sunday. The Purgatory Bike Park features quality downhill terrain at Purgatory Resort near Durango, Colorado and is an established pathway to over 400 miles of high alpine singletrack for hard core mountain bike enthusiasts. Durango is a bucket list destination and an event that you don’t want to miss.
Located just 25 miles north of Durango and surrounded by the majestic San Juan Mountains, Purgatory Resort is the destination for an authentic Colorado mountain experience. The Village Plaza base area features a vibrant assemblage of family friendly activities, lodging, retail shops, restaurants and bars.
