Telluride will be one of the newest locations to host the Big Mountain Enduro with a combination of terrain that will challenge both riders, and their equipment. No location can compete with the scenery that the San Juan Mountains offer, as competitors will be crisscrossing the mountainsides in the shadow of Mount Wilson above the historic downtown area. Bikers can choose to head in any direction right out of their front door for an unmatched cross-country experience or jump on the Gondola to gain access to downhill and flow trails that are fun and challenging for every riding level. Those looking for more time in the saddle will have no shortage of options, as there is a limitless amount of single-track heading out into the Uncompahgre Nation Forest.

Though a new bike park is due to open June of 2019, the BME stages will be broken up across the box canyon, mixing in some lift access trails and big backcountry terrain. Competitors will experience a wide range of trails in Telluride, from hard hitting downhill tracks in the Mountain Village Bike Park, to arduous climbs and technical descents on historic trails throughout the area; in total equalling nearly 7,800 feet of descending and 3,000 feet of climbing. Nothing comes easy here so be prepared for a big day in the saddle and 4 unique stages, all stemming out of Mountain Village. After a full day of racing on 4 challenging and very different stages, competitors and spectators will wrap up the event in the base area where the good times will continue into the night.
