I like this route. I think it's an intermediate route, with options for skinnies and big rocks if you want to challenge yourself. There are a couple spots where you could avoid going out and back on the same trail and make more of a loop. At the beginning and end I suggest the Blue Heron trail to start and finish the ride. The trails are nice, but not my personal favorite type of riding. Lots of ups and downs, rocks, and nothing particularly memorable except for pretty leaves, some big rocks, and the nice water views near the beginning/end.

There has been some really nice work added to these trails recently.

I prefer riding this in the opposite direction than suggested, however there are features that work better in different directions making it fun to ride both ways. However riding this counter turns the rock ledge into a drop and allows you to roll the big rock.

fun in both directions as there are features that only work in one direction. Counter clockwise your going to get a relatively straight steep descent and have to climb up the windier trails. I prefer clockwise as it turns those tight corners into higher speed sweepers that are a lot of fun. You can grind out the steep straight climb

Trail Pump Track
Excellent little pump track. We drive 30 minutes to hit this for an hour then ride the trails.

Trail Wild Turkey
Yet another classic tight, twisty, NE trail at Russel Mills. Great trail, super engaging, fun for lesser riders and add some speed and fun for experts. Just a great trail. Do it downhill

More flow the orange goose loop. Not as much tech but still a blast at speed. Lots of tight twisty turns. Great trail and gets a bit enduro is hat the very bottom

First of all this trail is excellent. Fast flowey with intermittent tech and rock fratures that you can skip if your not that good. The trail is a solid blue, not advanced at all in my opinion. I took my son on it on a 24 inch hardtail and he thought it was the best trail he has ever been on and he hit almost everything. It’s not a grean though so if you are not intermediate it might be too much for you. But for any rider with decent experience, this trail is an absolute blast.

Do not underestimate the size of this mountain... can’t wait to go back... also do it clockwise, I did it counter and it seems more fun the other way

Take this in and out instead of the fire road when accessing the two larger loops in here - when going North it is mostly downhill, so though it's pretty tiring on the way in, on the way out you can fly through it pretty quickly.

Well built trail - long climb doesn't seem very grueling, and the descent is spectacular. Riding clockwise, the downhill is really smooth on the corners, so you can go quite fast and really lay into them.

When riding it clockwise, the first quarter mile or so is mostly flat or slight downhill and is simply awesome. Tons of features, but somehow still so flowy and fast. The rest of the trail is great as well, but you'll be hooting about the first section.

Trail Inside Loop
Some big rock features on this little trail - worth the detour when doing the rest of the loops in the area

Rode this last weekend what a total blast. Almost never ending super twisty trail with small ups and downs, bridges, rock gardens and a few rock faces. I agree with the above comments this trail is intermediate to expert. It's not deadly but very technical. Make sure to wear a lot of bug spray though because it goes deep in the woods.

Hit the gas and it's a fun trail, especially the steeper chunkier lower section.

My favorite trail (website won't let me change rating to 5 stars). Several challenging rocks/boulders that you can go around or over, depending on your skill. It has skinnies, bridges, twists and turns, small uphills and downhills, and keeps you alert the entire ride. It is too much for beginners, but intermediate and expert riders will have a blast. It is similar to some of the more challenging trails at Billerica State Forest.

Super fun pump track! The jumps are wheel built and you can do some pretty fun tricks on one of them!

This trail is not easy and is not a blue, in my opinion. As a new rider I found it very difficult due to its technical features of many rock gardens, large rocks and boulders in the path, steep rock faces to go down, etc. My riding partner, who is much more experienced, loved the trail, but I’d recommend being more experienced before attempting this trail.
