Not sure if anyone rides this much these days but there’s a big tree down on it.

Heads up there is a big tree down across the trail near the bottom of the upper section of Charlie Don’t Surf. It’s hidden behind a big roller so if you find yourself charging that blind roller at speed you may be in for a surprise. Other than that it’s amazing, wild trail with plenty of wide, sweeping burms.

Awesome trail!!! Just be aware the way that NoCo trails are rated - the sketchy steeps and big gaps definitely make this a very challenging double black and should only be attempted by expert riders.

My favorite trail in the Hurricane network. Pair this with upper Gnar and you have a world class descent.

@samcarrara

I think most would disagree with your assessment on the drainage situation. Having said that, make sure you show up to the next WNEMBA trailwork day to help out. These trails are built and maintained by volunteers which is why you can ride them for FREE.

pretty rad trail with a few small jumps!! loved the ride but horrible drainage, the drainage ruts in the berms and landings were almost unbearable.

One of the best flow trails in new England not at a bike park. Very rideable for someone of medium experience.
