You can expect a lot of single trails, especially the ridge trail of the Blauen and the trail at the swiss/french border. It is a challenging route regarding endurance and riding skills.

Trail Blauen
This is a good blue single track. It is fairly flat but it is difficult to maintain a good pedaling speed as it is covered with small rocks and roots. It is 50% covered, so sunny or rainy days should not push you away from this trail. There is only a section close to Bruneberg of about 10 meters where you would need to hike the bike. I saw two eMTBikers who failed at climbing this section. If you are a beginner mountain biker, this trail offers a lot of opportunities to balance your bike over rocks and roots without the slopes or the speed. For an intermediate rider, this trail offers a good chance to learn to maintain good pedaling speed over a rocky floor. If you are an aggressive or a heavy rider, I would recommend increasing your rear tire pressure couple of PSI to avoid flats. there is a good amount of rock sticking out that are just waiting to tear your tires going downhill. most of the year dogs are allowed to use this trail off-leash. Thus, be careful with the furry friends. There are also some short trails going downhill from the blauen trail that are on the enduro (black) category.

Trail Blauen
This trail is doable with a hardtail or a XC bike.
