Blauherd-Täsch Bike Tour (Nr. 4)

This route is for experienced mountain bikers. The trail is relatively easy to start with, but quickly becomes challenging. You’ll be rewarded with cool single trails and incredible views of the mountains.

The cable cars take you up to Blauherd. The trail to Tufteren heads left away from Blauherd station and is initially quite flat. It then becomes more technical and there are some sharp corners to manage. It continues like this until you get past Tufteren. It is well worth stopping occasionally and taking in the amazing views of the Matterhorn, Mettelhorn and Weisshorn.

At Tufteren, the trail continues over the famous Europaweg. On the Höhenweg heading towards Täschalp, there are some sections when you'll need to pedal a bit. Some points on the Europaweg are also exposed and it is recommended that you get off your bike and push.

When you reach ‘Wenige’, the trail heads away from the Europaweg and down a gravel path towards Blasboden. There is a stream here where you can fill up your water bottles.

Afterwards the route follows the gravel road through the larch forrest and heads back to Täsch.

Additional information and recommendations are available from the guest information centre on Bahnhofplatz (by the railway station).

On y trouve alors quelques virages serrés difficiles.
