Detailed Description
BMBC - Intermediate - Downtown to Old Shasta and Back is a 18 mile popular intermediate route located near Redding California. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 9 trails. This route climbs 1,472 ft with a max elevation of 1,283 ft then descends -1,471 ft.

BLM has trail closed due to culvert failure below railroad grade. Trail is ridable, but do so at your own risk, probably a bad idea especially during wet weather. The culvert failure has put that entire fill slope at risk of failure. reporter
