Awesome trail. Rough, natural and steep up top . A few wet and muddy sections still. Some timber work in the mid sections along with steep rock roll sections that require a lot of control. Ends up faster and flowy

Upper portion of trail still has snow. Not worth the climb to the top. Drop in at the 2nd entrance. The bang isn’t worth the buck from the very top.

Trail Bootleg Road
Good condition road. I was able to get my Hyundai Kona up to the mid parking area by the trail pinch and roll. Above there would have been tough, a slightly higher vehicle would be fine.

Big tree down in top 1/4 from where lower parking area is (not very top) which is right before the loamy very rooty section. The rest is in great shape and all clear.

What an insanely fun trail! The top section is basically a loamer with a bunch of natural hits, then it turns into a great mix of fast bermy trail interspersed with short steep sections of techy rock, jumps, and drops. Wished I had time to pedal up for a second go. Nice work builders!

I am a new rider who has gone down some black diamond-rated trails near Fernie, and this one scared the shit out of me, haha. I had a harder time here than Swine Flu, Brokeback or Mushroomhead for sure. Kind of wished I could have seen some people shred it though. Someone needs to do some filming up here.

You’ll find full mountain mix of dirt, rocks, roots, those baseball size rocks that bounce up and hit you in the shins. There are tight single track sections and parts where you’ll be guessing where the trail goes. It’s quite the ride to the top, but you’ll be smiling ear to ear as soon as you start.

You must be thinking of Snow Mexcan or something else all together.

You should be comfortable jumping doubles to ride this trail. You can ride around most things but it would make the trail way less fun. There are many Rythm sections that would be super satisfying to clean, but if you mess up, like I did over and over, it tough getting back up to trail speed again.

This trail is so well built. There are plenty of creative options and room to Progress going bigger and faster. You won’t ever get bored of riding this.

Connecting the to White Lightning is a blast. Technical free ride DH with some fast steeps on Snow White, then get flowy and sendy on white lightning.

Really well built! Lots of hits to work up to with time and multiple laps.

Fun loamy single track with a few big wood features. Single track option to Nimby.
