Can be a fun trail to descend on, just make sure that you like loose and steep. It can be pretty tough on some places but is really fun to ride down.

The best you can really say about this is that it is the last section of dirt before city creek. At least it’s downhill only now.

If you lost a jacket on this trail some time between Oct 26-29, 2020, send an email to sarakyeo@yahoo.com and describe the brand, color, and what's in its pockets to get it back!

The scrub oak is leaning in at arm-height, I have some new bloody scrapes now. Bobbing and weaving like a boxer to avoid ripping my face open. Fun trail but might wait til long sleeve weather to repeat.

Hateful climb with best views around. Love adding this to a BST ride.

Short connection from BST to Dry Creek entrance. A short section of exposure and the narrowness of this trail makes it less ideal for beginners, but an easy enough hike a bike down if you decide it's too sketch.

This climb is a great & challenging workout. If you like climbing and want a workout, this is a great trail IMO. If you want a fun ride, dropping into city creek and climbing a different route would be a better direction. My first attempt was almost 100% hiking from the switchbacks to the top (I was in worse shape than most riders). After a few months of hard riding I was able to ride the whole climb without walking. It is challenging, but doable. There's steep climbs with a few technical spots that make it more challenging from the start of the trail to the top. It's not really a fun climb (dropping into SLC is the only thing fun about this trail), but it's a great workout if that's what you're looking for. I commute home to bountiful from work in SLC when I can and this is a great way to fit in a challenging workout that helps me build strength and endurance, and gives me a good feel for my current fitness level.

Trail is great, though some loose rocks. Dry with one wet section, but nothing serious.

Climbed this trail and it’s totally doable, but could use work to be “fun.” Runnels and loose rocks all over the place make it kind of a grind

I remember a fee steep spots, but maybe this should be green? I'll add gravel bike to list of bikes so it shows up on our gravel grinder page

Mellow and wide trail most of the way if you are coming from NSL. Awesome trail to ride from NSL to SLC along with Sandhurst. Can even be done on a Gravel/CX Bike.

I will agree with the person who said to reverse the directions. Unless you have a great bike, infinite leg power, great lungs, I would highly recommend not trying to climb this trail. It was a very difficult climb with lots of steep hills and sharp switch backs. Other than the beginning, I have to keep my bike on the lowest gear most of the time.

This trail is ridden primarily in the opposite direction. Climbing up the tower roads and descending into city creek is a great romp. I would advocate for reversing the arrows.

The trail is pretty fun. Nothing too crazy except one area with tons of large rocks. Could see how that area would cause some issues. Just noting, it seems most people go up this. It is much more fun going down. So, if going down - be ready to have to slow down in some of the blind corners/turns.

Maybe the worst trail I've ever ridden. A lot of these hiking trails are being ridden and I don't mind that. This one is not worth your time unless you've ridden every trail in a 45 minute radius and are sick of them all.

alt line to the road, not sure why the double black. The only sketchy part is going to fast in a crowded area, easier than bob sled for sure. This is a blue
