This is a two way trail. At the bottom there is a sign pointing up the trail to the trail head. I took this and climbed it. I was pretty scared. Luckily no one was coming down but I was concerned as you could hit very high speeds coming down this trail.

Brown County has a problem. They’re building some amazing downhill trails but they have not yet addressed how to get back to the top. They need a one way return trail to avoid potential conflict.

This is a great trail but a surprisingly sketchy hairpin turn with steep dropoff (early in the descent) kinda ruins the remainder of the yrail for 1st-timers. Pre-hairpin, one gets a sense for how fast/dangerous the trail is. The sketchy hairpin is a bit of a surprise in an otherwise 'fast' section of trail. The hairpin is much more treacherous than anything before or after that turn; so a 1st-timer is left a bit frazzled wondering what other surprise, black-level, risks follow.

CCW from Bobcat Connector is one of the best descents in BCSP. Great old school rooty singletrack.

Trail WALNUT
I don't know how to delete old comments but I came back to Walnut after improving some skills and riding a more appropriate bike and it's a total blast. Lots of challenging black diamond rock and root tech, but a surprising amount of flow, especially going west to east. Super fun in both directions. Highly recommend it!

Tons of fun. I went out and came back so I got both descents. If I had more time I would have probably done it twice or three times, it was sweet!

Trail WEEDPATCH
Weedpatch is a really lovely flow trail with similar DNA to Hobbs Hollow. It's a little bit slower and lower risk than Hobbs so I felt more comfortable charging it harder than Hobbs. Some locals told us it was best ridden from red to green, so that's what we did. The climb out is no joke so expect a nice workout.

Trail WEEDPATCH
+1 for best riding from red to green (opposite of what is shown on TF). I rode both, and the descending is much better in this direction - some fun flow, small jumps & berms, similar to Hobbs, but on a smaller scale. Overall a hoot!

Trail HOBBS HOLLOW
Like everyone says, this is a really special trail. Rippin fast, big tabletops, big confidence inspiring berms, and a couple bigger gaps that you can ride around. There is 1 drop (maybe 18"?) that is unavoidable, but you can more or less just ride down it without popping off it. I found it hard *not* to get a couple inches of air on most of the jumps (I wasn't trying to clear them), but it felt controlled and great. It's not a "perfect" surface (what is?) and has some brake bumps, but it just adds to the fun. If you go to Brown County you gotta hit Hobbs.

Did this trail from Green to Red after Limekiln. I’m no expert but I’m pretty comfortable on a bike, but I didn’t really enjoy it. If you’re into old school exposed technical climbs with lots of rocks and roots I think you’ll really enjoy it, but it wasn’t for me.

This is an extremely fun trail— don’t let the green rating fool you. Rode it counter clockwise, and there’s some awesome old school flowy descents, root gaps, and corners. Some climbs that will get your heart rate up too. Definitely a great trail to mix up the flow trail or black diamond XC stuff with.

This is a fun trail that rides along a higher contour. A little bit of everything. Some fast sections, climbs, and some technical sections. A good sampler of types of trails at BCSP.

Fast and fun on way down and a decent climb out. Careful on those switchbacks especially after picking up speed.
