This is a great beginner ride on the Braamfontein Spruit. Start from the Botanical Gardens parking area and ride down the Spruit on well defined, hardpacked single track trail. These trails are suitable for all skills levels.WHile the trail itself is technically easy, there are all sorts of more technical challenges along the way for the more adventurous.

Braamfontein Spruit For Beginners is a 8 mile popular easy route located near Johannesburg. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 17 trails. This route climbs 642 ft with a max elevation of 5,334 ft then descends -642 ft.
