Klonzo is a fun place to ride, but access isn't the best. To get there you have to drive out on this long dirt road and cross a very sandy wash. This wash is not always the most car friendly "road" and I prefer to ride more than drive. This route is my favorite figure 8 loop to do at Klonzo leaving from the Brand Trailhead. The Zephyr trail is sometimes double track, sometimes singletrack, and always a bit dry and sandy, but it bypasses the drive, so I like it for that reason alone.

Once you get to Klonzo this route takes you to my favorite climbs like Borderline and my favorite little downhill sections like Gravitron, VergiGo, Roller Coaster and Red Hot. I even like Zoltar for what it's worth, a fun romp across fins of sandstone and little dips and dives across the slick rock.

After linking up those fun DH sections you can wrest your arms (not your legs) as you roll back to the Brand Trails. To put a cherry on top of the loop I like to drop it down Maverick and back to the truck.

Brand to Klonzo Ultimate is a 20 mile popular intermediate route located near Moab Utah. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a hard overall physical rating. This route includes 21 trails. This route climbs 1,636 ft with a max elevation of 4,807 ft then descends -1,632 ft.
