Breck to Montezuma is a 17 mile less popular intermediate route located near Breckenridge Colorado. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 17 trails. This route climbs 4,139 ft with a max elevation of 12,614 ft then descends -3,247 ft.

There’s a creek crossing here. It was wide and deep enough on July 4th that I opted to wade across. Just a heads up for anyone adding this to your route.

Starts casual, gets progressively steeper and more blown out/washed out, last mile and change are effectively unrideable - 20+% grade with ruts, powder, and many loose rocks, hard to even push the bike in sections. Could maybe be a fun, hairy descent... beautiful zone up there, whole area gets a ton of moto/atv traffic so start early
