Epic XC ride that provides great views of John Rock, Davidson River, and Looking Glass Rock. Toughest part is the first few miles up Bracken with some steep and occasionally techy climbs. Once you reach the top of Bracken the next serval miles flow fast down to the fish hatchery where you can cool off in the Davidson river or jump across Fish Hatchery road and climb the gravel on the east side of Cove Creek. Toward the top watch for some killer views of Looking Glass Rock, but may not be totally visible when leaves are full. Continue around to join up with the fast single track descent on the west side of Cove Creek. Heads up if you take the short "Cove creek connector" as it was pretty washed out in spots. At the bottom of the descent you past the campground and can pickup Davidson river trail that will spit you back onto Fish Hatchery road. Continue east and it will eventually join HW276 rolling you back to the Hub.
