Trail The Catalyst
This fantastic trail is currently closed until further notice due to liability concerns from the Shoshone National Forrest. Lame.

This trail is great for cross country riders. The top meanders for miles with some mild climbs and occasional rock gardens and great views. As you get closer to the final descent, the trail does get a bit more climby and technical in sections and the views get even better. The trail just keeps going and going. This is an entertaining trail for expert riders and a challenging epic trail for intermediate riders IMO.
We started at the base and climbed all the way up on the road, past the first trail crossing, to the meadow reservoir and started the trail from the very beginning. The climbing is easy but takes a while.
