A good trail considering it was probably a hiking trail to start with, we need more of these in the area. I'm tired of smooth Park City, can we get some good cottonwood trails bill or will that never happen? The area seems to have awesome potential

A bit punchy in both directions, but smooth in a crucial ascends. Traverse the Basin’s rocky slopes is epic. Critical areas are well maintained.

Incredible going down, predictable giving you plenty of time to pick the best line.
Going up is for masochists.

For uphill riders, right before crossing the Cecret Connector Road, stay left. I stayed right around some rocks and ended up on a "fake" trail after crossing the road.

Dogs are not allowed in either Big or Little Cottonwood Canyons.

Super fun trail, I wonder if it doesn’t get ridden much bc it’s short? It’s a bit loose a bit techy and a bit flowy, with awesome views. Not really a full on black, but there enough line choices to make it intermediate to lower advanced. To me it’s like the better parts of the crest

A fantastically technical descent. Entirely rideable, but ill-advised on weekends.

Coming down it's a great high country trail, lots of fun and not crazy technical. Coming up, it's a bit of a bear, steep and a couple hike-a-bike sections.

Rode up from Brighton to Alta and back. Its hard going getting up to the ridgeline of LCC, and on the way up, its probably at least 30% hike-a-bike. Coming down from the ridge to Brighton it is mostly rideable, there's a couple section of burly boulder fields that I would say are totally unrideable. Lots of hikers/young families on the lower section of the trail.

Super fun way down from the pass. Good line of site most of the place in order avoid hikers and others coming up.

Mostly a hiking trail but if you like a hard tech climb then go for it! Great views but crowded on the weekends
