Going from South to North today encountered a swarm of bees near the peak of the trail. Had stopped to assess how to climb what looked like a very tricky section when a bee started buzzing me. I swiped at it to get it away and suddenly there were many bees and then many more bees. Quickly realized that I was in a bad area and turned around and went back down. No stings but a couple followed me for probably 1/10th of a mile and were buzzing my helmet all that way. Loved the trail and the climb but will wait until the bees move on before trying again.
