Esta ruta BTT circular transcurre entre localidades salmantinas de Cristóbal, Valdefuentes de Sangusín, San Esteban de la Sierra y Santibáñez de la Sierra, se trata de un recorrido ideal para conocer los paisajes más característicos Entresierras.

El recorrido de 32 kilómetros permite recorrer las sendas que unen los valles de los dos ríos vertebradores de la región, el Sangusín, al Este, y el Alagón, al Oeste.

Saliendo del municipio de Cristóbal recorreremos las sendas hacia Valdefuentes de Sangusín entre encinares, carrascas y matorral bajo, paisaje típico de la comarca de Entresierras, para, a continuación, girar y descender hacia las estribaciones de la Sierra de Francia, en cuya zona baja, encontramos los municipios de Santibáñez de la Sierra y San Esteban de la Sierra, dos localidades que ofrecen un paisaje muy distinto tapizado de cultivos de olivo y vid.

El descenso hasta San Esteban de la Sierra coincide con la interesante ruta de Los Lagares Rupestres, estando debidamente señalizados con carteles interpretativos.

Desde el valle del Alagón, subiremos entre viñedos hacia Cristóbal.

Recorrido de alta dificultad, especialmente en la zona que transita por la baja Sierra y que ofrece ascensos y descensos acumulados de unos 600 metros. Ruta perfectamente señalizada.

BTT Sierra de Francia / Sierra de Bejar - Ruta circular Dos Valles is a 20 mile less popular intermediate route located near Entresierras y Valle del Cuerpo de Hombre. This mountain bike primary route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route climbs 1,728 ft with a max elevation of 3,094 ft then descends -1,737 ft.
