This is a figure 8 loop of 2 BAMBA built tracks in Belmont Regional park.

To start the loop either get dropped at the end of Normandale Road/start of Old Coach Road or park at the bottom of Stratton street and ride up Stratton St, Cottle Park Dr, Normaldale road to the start of Old Coach road.

Once on Old coach road ride until you come to a gate with a open log barrier on your right. Immediately after the gate on the left is the start of Borderline.

Continue past Borderline for about 1km until you see the start of Bull-A-Varde on your right. Follow the switchbacks up Bull-A-Varde until a trail drops to the left. This is the start of Bull Run.

At the bottom of Bull Run follow the unsealed Hill Road up past the farm house. Approximately 500m past the farm house is a gate on your left hand side and large trees on your right. This is the Old Coach Road connector track. Be sure to close any gates you open

Continue along until you connect with Old Coach Road again and keep riding until to reach the start of Borderline.

Borderline will take you to the bottom of Stratton St to the car park.

Detailed Description
Bull Run-Bordeline Fig 8 loop is a 5 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Lower Hutt. This mountain bike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 10 trails. This route climbs 799 ft with a max elevation of 1,205 ft then descends -1,259 ft.

Pretty overgrown, as an intermediate rider it was my first time down this trail, it's much steeper, narrower and rockier than I realised.

Volunteers are doing an amazing job fixing parts of the track, especially the berms at the end of the track. It will still be slick when wet though.
