Trail Ravine
My visit to Missoula is never complete without a lap on this trail.

The very essence of "nature walk" and it's shaded most all of the way. Excellent way to get beginners biking on dirt. Disappointing way to finish Sheep mountain as a loop.

Trail Wallman West
This is one of my favorite climbs AND descents in Missoula. Super flowy both directions. Most folks don't descend this side, but I prefer it to the rockier easy side of Wallmen. Good dirt and fun corners.

Pretty dry to The bridge, then gets wet. Some parts of the trail were full on streams. Two trees down in the last mile before the wilderness boundary. The ride back down hill through the trail/stream was COLD.

Rides more like a Black Diamond. Took my partner on it thinking it would be a good entry trail. It is very steep in sections

If you like FAST smooth trails that bomb downhill with minimal turns, you’ll love this. Goes by fast so enjoy every moment

Could use some more turns. Seems like a good trail if you're in a hurry to get back to the parking lot.

The first half of this trail, above the junction with Stuart Pk Trail, is widely known as Overlook or Snowbowl Overlook.

Trail Wallman East
This is a great trail and can be done in both directions. I believe it is more fun to go up the West side trail and down East side trail. Its a real ripper. The water bars on the west side are fun and challenging to ride uphill. Everything in the Rattlesnake is fast, smooth and flowy.

One of my favorite out and back tails in the Rattlesnake.

Surprisingly good skiing for early November. Lots of people out and good user set tracks.

There is a large tree down just a short distance up from the main corridor. It's going to take a chainsaw and a bit of work to remove it. Not too bad to climb over, kind of a pain on skis or with a bike.
