2021 Bayview Blast hosted at Bayview Conservation Park, Redland Bay, the Blast returns to one of the best event bases around thanks to Redlands Council. The event village includes amenities, skills park, sealed carpark, toilets, bike wash and an outdoor shower.

The Bayview Blast will be held on 12-13 June 2021, the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in NSW and Victoria. Hopefully, many of our southern cousins will take the opportunity to spend a long-weekend in Queensland and challenge themselves with the 2021 Bayview Blast

Sunday is marathon day
In 2021 the Bayview Blast is a Gold Level National Cup round with all series categories available to allow riders to build more National Cup points.

The 2021 full marathon course is 40 km (approx) has been developed by Redlands Council to allow the Bayview Blast to be a 2 lap race add the 16 km start loop and you have a 96 km course with what we believe to be the largest amount of single track for any marathon race in Australia.

Race categories for the full marathon range from Elites through to Masters 7+ including a Single Speed category and Teams of 2 (All Male, All Female and Mixed).

For the Half Marathon it will be a single lap race similar categories for the half marathon are available including the U19 Half Marathon category which is part of the National Cup.

Ride this trail all the time because of its extremely flowy nature (if riding west-east). Couple of great little gaps if you get the right speed and is great for beginners to start off there fast, flowy trails. Best rode when dry, rode it when it was wet last time and had to stay on my breaks on the corners. Best access via the end of Teviot Road and off Teviot Trail.

Top section is really fast with high burms but it is kinda short and you have to climb out before you can start going down again.
