Desde el pueblo de Cabra de Santo Cristo (Jaén) vamos a subir al Cerro del Chantre, en las estribaciones de la Sierra Cruzada,
Bajada desde el pueblo hasta el fondo del barranco y posterior subida exigente por pista forestal, el primer tramo llega hasta unas antenas de telefonía, desde allí seguiremos subiendo hasta la cima. Una vez en ella, en días claros se alcanza a ver toda la zona circundante.
Volviendo sobre nuestros pasos, pasaremos por arboledas de pinos y campos de olivos.
El tramo tiene algunos desniveles muy importantes, por lo que hay que extremar las precauciones.

Cabra Xto, Cerro Chantre, La Higueruela, El Arenero, Cabra Xto. is a 12 mile less popular intermediate route located near Torres. This mountain bike primary route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route climbs 2,196 ft with a max elevation of 3,943 ft then descends -2,209 ft.
