California to Canada Section 8- Big Bear is a 38 mile moderately popular expert route located near Angelus Oaks California. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 6 trails. This route climbs 3,386 ft with a max elevation of 6,994 ft then descends -8,220 ft.

Only saw the eastern 2 miles. Trail was great. Few fallen trees encroached the trail. Easy to get around but removing them would be better

This section of SART is currently an adventure ride. A couple stream crossings got hammered in 2022 storms, and other spots were affected as well leading to some hike a bike and route-finding. There is some deadfall, but not terrible. A handsaw could take care of many trees. Much of the trail is in rideable condition. But I'd probably only ride it if I wanted to connect Wildhorse to SART.
