El Camino Asentadero - Bosque de los Espejos es una ruta de senderismo circular, que discurre entre los municipios de San Martín del Castañar, Sequeros y Las Casas del Conde, dentro del Parque Natural de Las Batuecas - Sierra de Francia.

El recorrido permite disfrutar de obras de arte que sorprenden al caminante. El Asentadero - Bosque de los Espejos es una invitación a mirar de otro modo, a leer el paisaje desde el arte.

La ruta puede iniciarse en cualquiera de los tres pueblos, si bien existe una variante más corta que permite visitar sólo dos de ellos y regresar al punto de partida (en el mapa: línea de puntos).

El Parque Natural también reúne un valioso patrimonio arquitectónico que se manifiesta en sus pueblos.

El hermoso conjunto histórico artístico de San Martín del Castañar ocupa una posición privilegiada en un promontorio, lo que le proporciona espléndidas vistas sobre los valles cercanos. El castillo acoge el centro de interpretación de la Reserva de la Biosfera.

Otro de los pueblos que se visitaremos es Sequeros, con un emplazamiento singular, a 950 metros de altitud, que le ha valido la merecida denominación de ‘Mirador de la Sierra’.

Nuestra siguiente parada Las Casas del Conde, su ubicación sobre una ladera del valle del río Francia y un microclima especial, hacen que sea el primer pueblo de la Sierra de Francia donde florecen los cerezos.

Camino Asentadero - Bosque de los Espejos is a 7 mile popular easy route located near Bejar. This hike only route can be used one direction and has a easy overall physical rating. This route includes 5 trails. This route climbs 1,330 ft with a max elevation of 3,049 ft then descends -1,334 ft.
