La Cañada Real de los Roncaleses es la ancestral via pecuaria que
conecta los pastos del Valle de Roncal con las Bárdenas Reales.
La ruta 4 parte de Vidángoz en dirección norte por la pista principal,
siempre en paralelo al río Biniés, ascendiendo poco a poco hasta el
Portillo Hilarión. Allí se conecta con la cañada, pero para evitar sus
rampas más empinadas primero tomaremos otra trocha forestal que
bordea en ascenso por el hayedo.
Una vez en lo alto de la Sierra Ferniando, disfrutaremos de impresionantes vistas panorámicas que en días de sol abarcan todo el Pirineo Navarro. Allí comienza una sucesión de senderos, algunos de ellos técnicos, que desciende hasta Vidángoz por todo tipo de terrenos:
pastos, rocas, bosques de pinos, hayas y robles,… La variedad de senderos y de paisajes hacen de esta ruta una de las más completas que se pueden hacer por la zona.

Cañada Real is a 13 mile less popular intermediate route located near Sanguesa. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route climbs 2,844 ft with a max elevation of 4,941 ft then descends -2,843 ft.
