You can make the ascent on mostly single track from the Kings side if you start from the corner of kings canyon road and Longview, then turn right on the dirt road.

Very easy/flat trail with stunning views. Great connector to chimney beach from incline side.

Trail Snapdragon Trail
Booooring... not much to this DH. A few switchbacks, a little dusty. A little flow to it, but barely.
DO NOT ride this and expect a quick Easy climb back out on the road back up to four corners. I guess the better route is around on Sunflower Hill, but I didn’t have time. Climb is terrible - steep, dusty, loose. Basically a walk. Snapdragon is NOT worth that walk.

No, don’t be an a*shole and rio fast and scare bikers. You’re childish.

Trail Flume Trail
5 star view, 3 star trail. Even with the shuttle it required a grueling 4 mile climb on kitty litter-like sand, and then to my dismay the rest of the trail was similarly sandy. You've got to do the trail because of the amazing views of Marlette lake and Lake Tahoe, but I won't do it again unless I'm bringing someone who's never done it before.

Trail Creek Trail
Great as a dh down. Nice tight corners and great flow. Watch out for hikers, I scared a few today rip’ fast!

Trail Flume Trail
World class views, undoubtedly the most scenic trail I've been on. The riding is secondary, and while fun, it is fairly flat. Pair this trail with TRT (from Tahoe Meadows) and/or Chimney Beach trail for an epic day. People with exposure issues may be nervous in a few sections. Visit the great Tunnel Creek Café at the base of Tunnel Creek Road.
