Ride the Carson City Off-Road. Choose from three different distance options of 15, 35 or 50 miles; each consisting of a carefully curated set of spectacular trails.

All participants will climb their way into the Eastern Sierra Nevada, take in huge views of Lake Tahoe, Washoe Valley and the Carson Valley while connecting some of the area’s favorite (and challenging) pieces of singletrack, double track, gravel roads and the occasional paved segment.

During your three-day event visit to Carson City enjoy being submerged in the mountain bike industry. Mingle with the most bike-minded people you’ll ever encounter while appreciating the area’s silver mining heritage and feeling welcomed by its modern day appreciation for the outdoor enthusiast.

With an award in the form of an engraved railroad finisher spike, top-notch free live music, a cold beverage from Four Peaks Brewing Co. (gratis) and the comfort of the capitol city’s sprawling shaded lawns waiting at the finish for all Off-Road participants…this is one finish line worth preparing and persevering for.

The Carson City Off-Road has a 98% finish rate. Bring your climbing legs and you’ll do just fine.

The Tahoe Meadows to Tunnel Creek TRT is made up of a high percent DG (decomposed granite), thus it drys out quickly. If you ride this east side of the TRT, then conditions seem pretty normal for mid July - dry. Still awesome views, and plenty of little granite challenges to make the 8.4 miles feel longer than it is. My riding bud the other day had one of his best days riding it, so I'd agree, plenty of fun to be had ...
