Great Loop. Steep climbing out of Carter Park and approaching Sally Ford Mine. Descent on Bakers Tank rocky in parts and tricky. Ride is NOT for beginners or children. Must take a little left turn at bottom of Bakers Tank to get to Aspen Alley. Aspen Alley is roller coaster wonderful

Trail Barney Ford
Kinda tail of two trails, lower section up to the top of the bypass is a flow trail with jumps, up section is a bench cut trail the tips down the mountain.

Great climbs in the beginning, well marked trails. Easy to find your way. Aspen alley descent makes this ride all worth it

Trail Aspen Alley
Great flow trail through beautiful trees, but unfortunately verry popular with hikers - passed close to 100 people on one descent so never got to ride the trail as well as it deserves.

Trail Bakers Tank
Do ride this downhill. Absolutely worth the ride.
For the lazy amongst us, a car can take you up Boreas pass. Park by the HUGE tank (Baker's Tank).

Took two hours moving time. All of the downhills are XC or multi-purpose trails. Zero jumps or drops so you might consider something else if you want to train downhill or enduro technique.

Trail Barney Ford
This is generally a downhill trail. While it's technically a 2-way trail, biking up Barney Ford is generally frowned upon unless it's for a competition. The preferred route up is Juniata!! You will get some not great looks climbing BF.

Trail Nightmare On Baldy
Beginning Nightmare on Baldy from the Sally Barber mine, it looks extremely steep and daunting -- especially if you've been climbing a lot already. Once you get past the first 100 feet or so, though, it becomes a shady and not-so-strenuous spin up the mtn to more varied downhill options. Fun trail!

Trail Aspen Alley
Short, but one of the highest fun factors in the area. Super fast and flowy with switchbacks and a few jumps. Highly recommended. This trail should be *downhill only.*

Flow trails are meant to be ridden downhill! Please take Juniata up so people don’t have to stop all the time for Uphill riders!

Great trail up and down! I climbed it on the way to sidedoor, and it has great views and is a manageable climb. I also came back down it, and it flows well and has plenty of jumps to keep your smile going and the stoke high!
