Nota: Ponga especial atención en el camino recorrido ya que es fácil perderse. La señalización es mala o inexistente y en ocasiones nos debemos guiar por la intuición o por ciertas señales que otros senderistas han dejado.

Para iniciar esta ruta nos desplazaremos hasta el municipio de Terroso. Una vez en la plaza nos guiaremos por las señales que marcan el Camino de Santiago. La flecha amarilla nos guiara mas o menos un kilómetro tras pasar el puente que cruza la autovía A-52.

Transcurridos estos 1.000 metros el camino que seguimos se desvía del Camino de Santiago. A partir de este punto comenzamos una ligera ascensión por un camino agrícola custodiado por jóvenes ejemplares de roble, escobas, helechos y por el cual cruzaremos al menos, cuatro veces un arroyo.

En los últimos kilómetros el camino se estrecha y nos conduce hacia un precioso valle con las montañas de fondo. El arroyo nos acompaña a nuestra vera derecha durante gran parte del último tramo como si se mostrase celoso de esconder su gran secreto.

Ya cerca del final, después de tres horas de viaje, el regato nos abandona y nos muestra a regañadientes una vista panorámica de la espectacular Cascada de Aguas Cernidas.

Si nos acercamos a ella, podremos apreciar su impresionante belleza. Todo un deleite para los sentidos que nos dejará sin palabras.

Las épocas en que la cascada mostrara su máximo esplendor y por tanto en las que se recomienda hacer esta ruta son el otoño con su explosión de colores y la primavera con el regreso de la vida.

Cascada de Aguas Cernidas is a 4 mile less popular intermediate route located near Sanabria. This hike only route can be used one direction and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route climbs 1,079 ft with a max elevation of 4,190 ft then descends -86 ft.
