You can not visit the Village of Oak Creek in Sedona without seeing Cathedral Rock looming in the skyline. Most visitors are happy to just gaze up at it and take in all its wonders from the ground, but if you want an adventure, try hiking to the top of it.

This hike is challenging, steep, and not without sections that require you to scramble on all fours. But as you make your way to the "saddle" you can expect spectacular views of the Sedona skyline.

You will also want to stop at the famous energy vortexes one of many found around Sedona

Cathedral Rock is a 1 mile moderately popular expert route located near Sedona Arizona. This hike only route. This route includes 4 trails. This route climbs 762 ft with a max elevation of 4,804 ft then descends -760 ft.
