Trail Ridge Connector
This trail is no fun. It’s rocky and pure torture. We felt like there was anything fun about it.

sounds like you were climbing it, which is the wrong way.

The description had me worried. But I though it was a great climb up.

Trail Stiff Upper Lip
I jumped on at the top of empire, rode it clean from there. So I did skip the lowest part connecting in from fat lip.

Trail Moose Puddle
As of 6/11/2022 Moose Puddle is closed. The sign at the top of the trail states that it's temporarily closed for construction due to heavy equipment in use.

I've ridden this at least annually since 1994. Veteran advice: there is no shame in walking - most riders do. The reward is significant. Use that "granny gear" big enough to serve a turkey dinner, and you'll at least get a good run into it. Some riders will grind it straight to the top.
Definitely gets your blood going and reminds me of climbing the Germania Pass road in Alta: steep as *$#@.

One of the hardest climbs I’ve ever had. Loose and Rocky, very few good lines. Makes you appreciate the downhill.

Trail Fat Lip
Older style “true” single track that should be classified intermediate difficulty when dirt is good. A couple short steep climbs and short steep descents. If you like John’s area and stuff south of there, this will be fun. Use this as a loop from shadow lake area involving 9k/Apex/Keystone. Technical areas similar to lower Keystone in trees.

Trail Moose Puddle
Good place to practice flat turns. The trail does not flow well, but there are some fast sections here and there. I think the 3 out of 5 stars is a perfect rating for this trail.

Olympic Trail to Moose Puddle yesterday - great ride, amazing views at the top. Link to BLT for a fun easy downhill, and stop by the Olympic aerial pool to watch some amazing ski jump acrobatics.

Stumbled on this today and loved this climb as an alternative to the road back to 9K! Now that’s good trail planning and building!

Way to add some ST right off of Fat Lip to avoid that annoying road!

I love to ride all kinds of trails. But this one is my favorite. Went up there last week with a bunch of friends. We were all blown away by how cool this ride was! The top views can’t be beat. Some fun technical rocky parts and the down hill is super fun and flowing. Amazing Utah trail!

Idk when the gate closed but it's before 8PM FYI we heard it closed at 6!

Not sure why everyone is so afraid of puke hill. It isn’t fun but it’s so short you can just use one burst of energy to get up to the flat section.

Trail Moose Puddle
A nice downhill ride with sections going through the pines. I usually encounter hikers and dogs coming up this trail so a courtesy bell is helpful.

Trail Moose Puddle
Looks like a fun trail with switch backs, etc. but it was just okay for me. Not very many built up burms, no jumps, and it doesn’t flow great. It was pretty coming down through the pines though. I’d rate this trail a 3.5 for those looking for a fun down hill trail.

Trail Wasatch Crest (South)
This is a decent trail but is not good enough to deserve all the over-driven hype it seems to get. The views are amazing. The riding is mediocre.

Puke hill is an abomination. So many new trails going in to the Park City area, and there is no option for rerouting off this crap climb to one of the best sections of Singletrack in the entire country? Pinecone ridge from Park City is one of the best climbs around, but not all climbers are coming from Park City, probably more from SLC, leaving Puke Hill a wart on the ass of an otherwise otherworldly ride.

Puke Hill is, for me, an aspiration! I admire the folks who take this in one shot and it is a way for me to measure progression toward ideal fitness.
The climb is part of the charm of the route and adds to the appeal. If one can proudly proclaim that they've conquered the climb, they have earned joyful passage to the remaining ride.

Worth noting that the gate to the UOP closes usually around 8pm! You can park outside the gate and pedal in, but if you're doing an afterwork pedal - don't get locked in!
