If crossing river, I'd go to the furthest right you can. Not gonna lie, it's very slippery and a bit nerve racking to cross. Crossed it this past weekend. On the right side the rock has a slight upslope you can push against the current very slightly. Probably easier if you keep your shoes on but I'm not a fan of biking with 10lbs 5 10s for the rest of the day

Try this next time: take off your shoes and walk across in your socks...the socks really do a good job of sticking to the rocks. I always bring another pair of socks and change them out after crossing. Just squeeze out the wet pair and stick them in your pack.

Basically, a dead end not specified as a dead end. No bridge over fast-flowing creek over slupery rocks.

What a wonderful slabby trail, including the climb. Hopefully a few more steep slab lines can find their way onto the trail system. This felt like a little taste of squamish in NC!

This trail if ridden CCW is a blast to climb. It's tech, smooth and doable. Also if it's a little wet out the rock stays grippy! The downhill is fun and the top is super cool.

This is one of my favorite trails. From the natural and rugged beauty to the rock drops (most with ride-arounds) to a few rocks you can jump/double into step-downs. Enjoy!

This is an amazing trail. I rode it as an out and back. It’s really fun trying to make it up the rock features, and bombing back down is even better. This is a must-ride in the area.

Where do most of you park if you are trying to get up to Cedar quickly?

DuPont fire staff decided to drive a UTV up the trail rather than walk their burn line. Probably can't complain about trail wear and tear anymore.
