Trail Gun Meadows
Beautiful scenic, easy ride. Gradually descending thru meadows and some blue features at the end steeper section.

Trail WD Trail
Fun trail when riding north from Spruce Lake a few mildly techy bits to keep things interesting.

Easy riding both directions, well cleared and brushed. Technical "janky" rock sections near the bottom.

Awesome section of trail, great rolling terrain with only a few short technical sections, great camping spots along the way. Climbs near the end to get up to the Grasslands.

The statistics for this trail are imposing, elevation gain, length and pitch are scary. but ultimately it has many very rideable section up to right near the top. A few good rest / camp spots on the way up too. Very clear with no issues crossing side streams. A few wet spots but nothing out of the ordinary. Downhill is excellent, with great views, flow at the top, and gets increasingly technical toward the bottom.

Rode this one North to South and it was a blast! The initial alpine meadow going down was low grade and a lot of fun to rip down. I recommend doing this one North to South.

I wouldn't call this a green descent as that would imply a beginner trail... it's a solid blue. Some pretty steep technical sections.

Great up-track--in perfect condition as of last week. This trail should be rated a green/blue descent (not black) and blue ascent.

Mid Gun Creek Trail (Deer to Spruce)
Aug 23, 2022 @ 8:51am
Aug 23, 2022
There are several sections of prolonged water coursing down the trail. The worst is between trigger and hummingbird lake. Several spots need some trail work with tools to fix or trail will deteriorate further. The water should be easily diverted vs running 50m straight down the trail.
Lower Gun Creek Trail (Jewel to Spruce)
Aug 23, 2022 @ 8:47am
Aug 23, 2022
There is a tree down within sight of the gun meadows trail junction. The trail from that point till spruce lake trail is overgrown.
