E se essa pedalada for motivada pelo desafio de completar uma rota que une o esporte ao turismo de Gravataí?


A partir do marco zero, na Timbaúva, o ciclista pode optar por três formas de trajeto, em uma escala de dificuldades. O primeiro circuito, chamado "Galo Vermelho", é o mais curto: percorre a Timbaúva, cruzando a RS-020, vai até o Beco do Pavão, encara uma subida na região do Itacolomi e faz o retorno na altura da escola Emília Viega da Rocha. O tempo estimado para completar esta rota é de 1h30min.

No "Galo Negro", o grau de dificuldade aumenta, e o trajeto também é ampliado, incluindo mais um trecho de asfalto, conhecido como São João do Deserto, chegando até o limite entre Gravataí e Novo Hamburgo, na região do Morro Agudo. Aí, o tempo estimado para completar o circuito é de 3h. O estágio mais elevado é o "Galo Cinza", que abrange os dois roteiros iniciais e inclui uma subido mais extrema, conhecida no meio do ciclismo como a Dolores. Em 3h30min, é estimado que se consiga completar este trajeto.

Circuito Galouis - Galo Negro is a 28 mile less popular intermediate route located near Sapucaia. This mountain bike primary route and has a hard overall physical rating. This route climbs 2,748 ft with a max elevation of 906 ft then descends -2,750 ft.
