Despite its name, this is not a true Downhill (DH) trail. It’s actually a double black cross country trail. One of the most technical trails in all of Durham, this trail checks almost all of the boxes for TTFs. It’s just missing a G-out and a proper drop.

Definitely not a double black/red. I would say it is more like a single black. It is a fun but short trail.

Arrows/direction on Trailforks wrong. Arrows on trail direct traffic the opposite direction.

Trail Scratchy S
No arrows where Scratchy and Itchy meet.
Scratchy to Itchy, wrong way, continue on Scratchy.

Trail DMBA Way
The official trail map shows a short off-shoot loop from this trail called "Dagrock", I didn't see it when I rode here and it isn't on trailforks, JUst wondering if it was discontinued or just not added?

Wish there was more like this although this network really uses the available elevation very well. Fingers crossed more fast flow like this can pop up over time. Couple slightly blown out trail edges closer to the end!

Short but super fun trail. Very pumpy with a handful of little jumps.

Trail Burnt Toast
Very sandy in spots (due to heat, usage and lack of rain) - repairs are underway via DMBA trail volunteers.

If only I had read the comment from 2017 lol...indeed watch the routes after the jump, they'll kick you right off the trail and into the trees if you hit them wrong. Ask how I know

definitely more blue than black. Pretty fun going down, not much fun going up (for me).

This is a fast one. Great air, but watch that set of roots after the jump.
