Dropping in from the top of Sumas into Knob Gobbler, a loamy gem with plenty of lines to choose from. July 30, 2016.

Riding this for the first time, alone there were a number of times I had to stop and figure out where the trail went because it is still early season and hasn't been ridden enough to always be immediately obvious. The top was definitely wet but as you made it further down things dried out. If you want to take the hike to the lookout before your descent there are still snow banks on the hiking access trail. The map board at the park entrance says this is a Blue but I'd say with the size of a few of the rock rolls and root drops that I'd rate it as an easier Black. Lots of fun. Looking forward to being back in Abby and trying again when it is dry.
