Start from Parking Lot 4 at Cottonwood Slough

Starts with a warm up as you ascend Trail 15 to Patricia Lake Bungalows, take the Bungalows acces to Trail 6b which is a winding singletrack with some technical rooty rocky sections that works it's way up and down across the ridge between Cottonwood Slough and Patricia Lake, this connects to 8d and 8 where you'll find some very technical short rooty sections with great views of the slough and good potential for wildlife viewing(Cottonwood slough is much more scenic than the name would suggest).

Make this ride longer by riding up Trail 2 from town and down Trail 2a.
