Same entry as the Freehub magazine route, but take a left on Daniels to come out at the Falls. From the top of Daniels its a fast, rocky, steepish downhill with a couple smaller drops. After this you will hit a flat area with a few creek crossings, some having bridges. Rooty, fun, techy stuff to play on. Third section is another good downhill run down to the falls. All around whorter than the freehub route but still worth the ride.

Rocky side: Running water down some sections of trail due to pop up creeks, mainly on the rocky sections. Many sections are dry, mainly those exposed to sunlight, the wet sections were not muddy, but had a fair amount of running water down the trail. The bridge side is likely messy and best avoided, climbing from Lanning was not overly messy, wet, or soft, but the section below that going down typically gets muddy with significant rain. Some trees down, but mostly clear.

Tree down about halfway down around a blind corner. It can be ridden under but it's easy to hit your head on it.
