CP20 - Stage 1 is a 6 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Brevard North Carolina. This mountain bike only route. This route includes 8 trails. This route climbs 809 ft with a max elevation of 2,744 ft then descends -603 ft.

Hope you have a low gear, this gets pretty steep, but definitely worth the descent on Black Mtn Trl

Up this trail was hard for a flat lander from Florida. I mad it with lots of stops. Then took Sycamore trail to the right. WOW!!! So worth it.

I made the mistake of climbing lower sycamore then descending upper. A ton of hike a bike, at least for my florida legs. Talked to the guys at the Hub afterwards and they suggested climbing Grassy Rd to the top of sycamore then descending either upper or lower. Went back and followed thier suggestion, so much better!

TLDR: Climb Grassy Rd then descend either leg of Sycamore.
