At the start, the red trail turns left and heads down on the game drive road towards the river. Ouhout Revenge is the first bit of technical singletrack riders have to navigate before crossing over the bridge. Halfway up the concrete strips you turn right for some singletrack heaven next to the river. Keep your speed to make it up around the hairpin. After leveling out for a short decent is followed by winding climbs up towards Toscana Ridge. Rhythm is key for the next dragging climbs before dropping down fast into the valley. Crossing a small stream opens up to a dragging climb to the top of a rockey ridge. The trail meanders next to the river for a bit before chasing up the heartrate with a steep climb. Enjoy a magnificent view as you are rolling over the Quartz Ridge. The final climb is made up of switchbacks - best is to attack the corners flat out The last downhill helps to rest the legs a bit before the final climb leading back to the shop or on to the yellow route.
